Meet the team
The people behind your recovery.
Jack Wilkie
Jack graduated from Durham University before completing his Master's degree in Physiotherapy at Teesside University in 2022. Since qualifying, he has developed a broad range of experience within the NHS before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Jack has a particular interest in exercise-based rehabilitation and believes that movement and targeted exercise are fundamental to achieving long-term recovery. He is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities that matter most to them, whether that's getting back to sport, returning to work, or simply moving with greater confidence and less pain.
Recognising that no two patients are the same, Jack takes a personalised approach to assessment and treatment. He works collaboratively with each individual to develop tailored rehabilitation programmes designed to meet their goals and deliver meaningful, lasting results.
Michael Rae
Michael is a highly specialised Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in MSK physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation and post-operative recovery. Alongside his role at Aspire Health Group, Michael works within the NHS in a highly specialised MSK position, treating a wide range of complex spinal, upper limb and lower limb conditions.
Before qualifying as a physiotherapist, Michael competed at an elite level as a Great Britain footballer. This background gives him a strong understanding of the demands of sport, injury recovery, rehabilitation and returning to peak performance.
Michael has a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation, including ACL rehabilitation, knee injuries, hip and ankle problems, running injuries and return to sport. He is also highly experienced in orthopaedic rehabilitation, post-operative physiotherapy, spinal pain, back pain, neck pain and manual therapy.
His approach combines expert assessment, hands-on treatment and progressive exercise rehabilitation to help patients reduce pain, rebuild strength, restore confidence and return to the activities that matter most.
Special interests: ACL rehabilitation, lower limb injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, running injuries, return to sport, spinal pain and manual therapy.
Adam Fleck
Adam qualified as a physiotherapist from Northumbria University in 2012. During his NHS career, he gained extensive experience across a range of specialist rotations, including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients, neurorehabilitation, intensive care, neurosciences, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. This diverse background has provided him with a broad understanding of complex patient presentations and the factors that can influence recovery.
Adam subsequently transitioned into private practice, where he has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of joint pain, muscle injuries, and tendon-related disorders, while continuing to work with individuals requiring neurological rehabilitation to improve function, independence, and quality of life.
He enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and helping them return to the activities that are important to them, whether that is completing a local Parkrun, keeping up with family life, returning to work, or competing at an international sporting level.
With a keen interest in strength and conditioning, Adam brings both professional and personal experience to his practice. As an amateur powerlifter and strongman competitor, he understands the physical and psychological challenges that accompany injury and appreciates the importance of returning to sport safely, efficiently, and with confidence.
Adam believes that every patient has a unique story. He takes the time to listen carefully, identify the key factors contributing to their symptoms, and develop an individualised treatment plan tailored to their goals.
